We are pleased to announce that Diaverum Portugal has completed the acquisition of the Pombaldial Dialysis Clinic, taking our total number of clinics in the market to 27.
The new centre, which was originally founded as a private initiative in 2009 by a group of nephrologists in Pombal, Central Portugal, employs more than 60 medical and clinical staff to provide care for 115 patients.
With this acquisition, Diaverum Portugal now operates 27 treatment centres, with over 1,000 staff treating more than 3,415 patients, annually. This rapid development trajectory makes it one of our most dynamic and rapidly growing markets, globally.
