London, 29 September: Diaverum, the world-leading renal care provider, is pleased to share that its multiple award-winning website has been recognised once again.

In a ceremony held last Thursday in London, Diaverum was awarded Gold for the Best Use of Digital in the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Sector, in the Digital Impact Awards.

Since their inauguration in 2010, the awards have been instrumental in recognising the growth, dynamism and impact of digital corporate communications. Each of the winners and finalists represent the very best of the discipline, setting an industry-wide benchmark in stakeholder engagement.

Diaverum’s corporate website was launched in July 2020, in close collaboration with London-based agency, MerchantCantos. The award comes as judges praised the website for ‘focusing on accessibility for patients’ .

This accolade is the latest in a series of awards for the organisation’s digital presence; in 2021 alone, it has been awarded with 'Best rebrand of a Digital Property' at the Nordic Awards and more recently, the Gold prize for 'Best Corporate Website: International' at the Corporate and Financial Awards.

Commenting on this latest recognition, Kirsty Bashforth, Chief Business Officer, said: “It’s absolutely wonderful to be the recipients of such consistent praise for our digital strategy and platforms. We work hard to ensure every piece of our digital messaging reinforces who we are and our focus on our patients. I couldn’t be prouder of the team that worked on this – it’s a testament to the True care culture that drives everything we do as a business”.

Joanna Borczak, Director, Global Marketing & Societal Engagement, added:
“I am thrilled that this amazing team effort has been appreciated by the judges. The comments from the jury and value for our patient-centric approach means a lot to me and the whole project team. It’s very exciting that we were chosen among the best world brands in the healthcare sector”.
